Update: afPE Regional Advocate Applications Now Closed

The Association for Physical Education recently invited expressions of interest for the role of afPE Regional Advocate across each of the Department for Education (DfE) regions.

We were looking for passionate professionals working within Physical Education who possess a strong understanding of the local PE landscape and experience of engaging with local or regional networks. This role was designed to offer a valuable opportunity for professional development and a broader national perspective, with time and expenses covered.

The deadline for applications closed at 12 noon on Friday 20th June. We’re delighted to have received a high number of applications from individuals clearly dedicated to championing and supporting physical education at a regional level.

All applications are currently being reviewed. Successful applicants at this stage will be contacted to arrange a conversation with the CEO, during which the next steps will be outlined. We aim to notify all applicants of the outcome by Wednesday 17th July.
