Physical Education Matters

Physical Education Matters

Published by the Association for Physical Education (afPE)Physical Education Matters is one of the standout benefits of afPE membership. This termly journal (published in  November, March and June) seeks to inspire, inform and engage by sharing the latest in research, practice and policy from across the physical education, school sport and physical activity community.

Not only has the journal been redesigned and rebranded in the new afPE format, it is now a digital publication . As a charity we have to monitor our carbon footprint. Printing and posting costs have increased significantly so we have come in line with many other journals and print publications and moved to a more efficient way of sharing the work that is happening in physical education (PE).

From policy makers to practitioners, and from students to seasoned educators, contributors represent a wide range of voices from across the UK and beyond. As well as highlighting afPE’s work, we share a variety of opinions, ideas, practices, resources and research from the sector. We warmly welcome submissions from anyone involved in the field. Interested in contributing? Please refer to our contributor guidelines.
