British Gymnastics Physical Education Teachers Trampoline Award

Are you a Physical Education teacher looking to enhance your gymnastics and trampoline teaching skills? The British Gymnastics Physical Education Teachers Trampoline Award is the perfect opportunity to develop your expertise in delivering high-quality, safe, and engaging trampoline sessions within an educational setting. It is the minimum expected qualification to deliver trampoline gymnastics sessions within a school environment. It covers seat, front and back landings, twists and shaped jumps. To deliver somersaults at the higher level GCSE skills Part 2 is required.

This course is designed for teachers who are eager to expand their knowledge and confidence in coaching trampoline techniques to students of various abilities. You’ll gain practical skills in delivering effective warm-ups, core trampoline techniques, and spotting safety measures.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Fundamental trampoline skills, including shaping, twisting, and landing techniques.
  • Safety protocols for spotting and supporting students.
  • Planning and delivering engaging trampoline lessons aligned with educational standards.
  • Methods to differentiate activities for varying skill levels in a school setting.

Who Should Attend:

Delegates must have QTS but no longer have to be PE specialists. Overseas trained teachers should get clearance from British Gymnastics before being accepted on the course.

Certification:

Upon successful completion, participants will receive the British Gymnastics Trampoline Teachers Award, certifying their ability to deliver trampoline sessions in line with national safety and teaching guidelines.

Why Attend?

  • You shouldn’t be teaching trampolining in schools without this qualification!
  • Gain a recognised certification to advance your PE teaching career.
  • Learn from experienced British Gymnastics professionals.
  • Build confidence in teaching trampoline to diverse student groups.
  • Enhance your school’s PE offering with dynamic and engaging lessons.
