Profile:
I am the Professional Development and Centre Manager at the Association for Physical Education (afPE). With a degree in Sports Development and Physical Education and experience in PE teaching, I have developed a strong understanding of the importance of high-quality professional development for educators. My background has given me valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities within physical education, allowing me to effectively support CPD programmes that enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.

Beyond my administrative responsibilities, I am deeply committed to supporting the professional growth of educators and promoting high standards in physical education. I enjoy the challenge of improving processes, implementing new ideas, and contributing to the wider goals of afPE. Being part of a team that makes a meaningful impact in education is incredibly rewarding.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing football and trying to improve my golf. I like to stay active and spend as much time outdoors as possible. As a kid, PE was always my favourite part of the school day—it taught me the value of teamwork, resilience, and staying active, all of which have stuck with me ever since. I look forward to continuing my journey in this role and contributing to the advancement of CPD in physical education!
