Children use their hand to roll their ball around the hoop slowly and with control.
This builds on block A, children to begin kneeling down and then lift a leg up and forward, but this one twist to turn in one direction. Repeat with the other leg.
HoppingJumping side to sideKneeling and movingMoving tableChildren need to hop on one leg and then repeat on the other. The idea is to have controlled movements and not be shaking side to side.
This is a two footed jump from side to side. Ensure children have enough space.
Children form a table position and try to keep their core muscles engages whilst they walk up and down a mat in a table position.

CatTotal extensionTotal flexionChildren are on hands and knees and they need to arch their back and curl their back – angry cat, and happy cat.
Ask children to lay on their backs and stretch with their arms above their heads and toes points – try to make themselves as long as possible and hold for 10 seconds.
Children to form a tuck position on the floor, tucking chin on chest and curling into a small ball, using their arms to hug their knees. |
