Swim:ED Impact Report 2023-24

Swim:ED are pleased to share their Swim:ED Impact Report 2023-24 which details Swim:ED's profound impact on children across the UK. Thanks to support from numerous people and collaboration with organisations nationwide, they've made remarkable strides in expanding children's access to essential swimming and water safety education. 

Key highlights

Swim:ED's mission to provide on-site swimming education is more critical than ever, and this year's report illustrates the success of the programme: 

• Since its launch, Swim:ED has reached over 7,500 children and continues to grow. 

• 83.2% of children made progress in at least one of the national curriculum outcomes for swimming and water safety. 

• The report includes school stories that show how Swim:ED builds children's confidence and life-saving skills while removing barriers to swim education. 

The insights from this report underscore the value and impact of our stakeholder's involvement with Swim:ED. Together, we're closing the gap in swim education access, particularly for children in underserved communities. As they look ahead, they're eager to strengthen their partnership and explore new ways to expand Swim:ED's reach.
