Vacancy for afPE Treasurer

Who we are

The Association for Physical Education (afPE) is the only Physical Education Subject Association in the UK.

We are committed to being the representative agency of choice for people and organisations delivering or supporting the delivery of physical education, sport and physical activity in educational contexts and in the wider community.

The role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Treasurer to our Board of Trustees.

The position of Treasurer is a key role in the effective governance of afPE. Whilst financial matters are the responsibility of all Trustees, it is recognised and acknowledged that the Treasurer plays a vital role in overseeing the organisation’s financial activities, ensuring sound financial management, and providing strategic guidance to the Board and executive team. The Treasurer is also a member of afPE’s Finance Committee.
