Oak National Academy and PE Scholar Partnership

We are excited to share that Oak National Academy have just announced that PE Scholar will be their curriculum partner to create brand new Curriculum PE content. These resources will include a well-sequenced curriculum and planning/ delivery materials for practical PE across Key Stages 1-4 as well as GCSE PE content. PE Scholar was established in 2010 and has built a strong reputation at bridging the research-practice gap to ensure Physical Education stands for Positive Experiences for all by offering the latest insight, outstanding resources, expert-led courses, professional development and consultancy. 

Dr Liz Durden-Myers will be overseeing the project whilst Will Swaithes will be Curriculum Design Lead for secondary. Meanwhile, a partnership with Complete PE means Catherine Fitzpatrick will be leading on the primary content and Youth Sport Trust will be involved in content review. In addition to this Oak and PE Scholar hope for input from AfPE and importantly also want our network of physical educators to inform what is created to ensure it has maximum value and impact.
