afPE Webinar – Models-based Practice

To continue to support our members and the PESSPA sector, the Association for Physical Education is scheduling regular webinars covering a wide range of diverse and topical subject areas. These will be specifically available for afPE members, although some will be open to the public.

The next afPE webinar that we have scheduled is ‘Models-based Practice‘

• Title: Models-based Practice
• Date & Time: Thursday 7th September 2023 from 16:00 to 17:00 with the opportunity for questions
• Delivered by: Dr Ash Casey
• Description: The session will look at Models-based Practice (MbP) and will explore the ideas behind this approach to Physical Education and the initial steps that might be taken when adopting a models-based approach to PE. It will explore curriculum change, challenge the ways we traditionally organise the subject and the timetable.
