Physical Education as a Core Subject Survey

Loughborough University and the University of Edinburgh – with support from afPE – are continuing their work exploring the potential of physical education (PE) as a core subject.

We are now inviting PE professionals from across England – including teachers of PE, subject leaders and PE teacher educators – to complete a short survey, to share their visions for PE as a core subject with us. We also welcome responses from those with wider interests in the subject, such as senior leadership or PE advisors/consultants.

The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and is live now until Friday 28th July 2023 at 5:00pm, though early completion is encouraged. Please do share the survey amongst your networks and help us to create a vision for PE as a core subject that truly reflects the perspectives of the profession!
