Government Publish GCSE PE Short Course Content

The Government has today published the final subject content for Physical Education (PE) GCSE short course to be taught from 2017.

The final content can be found HERE, the government response HERE and the equalities analysis HERE.

The Government’s aims for GCSE and A level reform are unchanged. They are reforming GCSEs and A levels to be robust and rigorous, to match the best education systems in the world and to keep pace with universities’ and employers’ demands. The reforms aim to ensure that GCSEs and A levels prepare students for further study and future employment and are qualifications in which students, employers, and further and higher education institutions can have confidence.
