Kids go free to the SSE Women’s FA Cup Final – 14th May, Wembley Stadium

The SSE Women’s Cup Final is always a great family day out! A record number of supporters flocked to the national stadium to see Chelsea edge Notts County 1-0 in last season’s Final – the first to be played under the arch.

The women’s FA Cup was introduced in 1970 and the Final was for a long time the date in the women’s football calendar. The focus and attention around The Women’s FA Cup remained until 2011, when the The FA WSL launched and women’s football fans were given the opportunity to watch local, competitive women’s football regularly.

This is a really exciting time in women’s football as female athletes are finally starting to receive more public encouragement. Come and join in the support!

The FA has confirmed that this season’s SSE Women’s FA Cup Final will be staged at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 14th May 2016 (kick-off 2pm).

This year’s SSE Women’s FA Cup Final at Wembley will be FREE for Kids and only £15 for adults, with group rates also available for £7.50 adults and £2.50 concessions.   

Over 30,000 fans attended the showpiece event in 2015, a record for The Women’s FA Cup and one The FA are aiming to break again in 2016.
