afPE Webinar – Transformative Physical Education

To continue to support our members and the PESSPA sector, the Association for Physical Education is scheduling regular webinars covering a wide range of diverse and topical subject areas. These will be specifically available for afPE members, although some will be open to the public.

A recording of the webinars and presentation slides/handouts will be uploaded to the members’ area of the afPE website following the broadcasts.

• Description: This webinar will focus on encouraging you to analyse your current practice in order to explore whether or not you are maximising your impact on learners. The content will encourage you to honestly reflect on your own PE curriculum, without any judgements, and offer pointers to inform your thinking and planning in readiness for the next academic year. Examples of approaches schools have taken to their own curriculum planning will be presented, in order to help you to reflect on your current offering and to ensure that you and key stakeholders fully believe in your own approach to providing compelling physical education within your school.
