Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Physical Development and Physical Activity in the Early Years – Induction Day for New Centres

 

Rationale:
To provide recognised centres with an overview of the 1st 4sport L3 Early Years Qualification Framework. 

 

Purpose of the qualification:
To provide an effective and structured programme and qualification for the Early Years workforce in order to promote and develop the principles of lifelong health and well-being for children, their parents and carers, in the early years setting.

Induction Day – Date & Venues:

  • Thursday 21st July 2016 – The Stables Conference & Meeting Venue, Astwood Lane, Wychbold, Worcestershire WR9 0BU.
Duration/time:
 1.30pm – 4.30pm.

 

Who should attend?
Any recognised centre staff involved in the delivery of Early Years provision.

Delegates for the qualification and why they should complete the qualification:

  • Early Years professionals such as child minders, nursery and pre-school staff teaching assistants and activity leaders in the area of physical development /physical activity.

  • To develop skills and knowledge of physical development, physical; activity health and well-being in the early years setting
  • To gain practical experience of planning, delivering and evaluation activity programmes within the early years
  • To gain relevant industry related qualifications
