Sugar Tax Features in the Queen’s Speech

The Queen has announced the government’s legislation for the year ahead, at the state opening of Parliament.

Featured within her speech is confirmation that the sugar tax levy will be included in the 2017 Finance Bill. The money this will raise will be used to double the Primary PE & Sport Premium.
