The afPE East Region is hosting a professional learning event in Cambridgeshire on 14th October 2016, called ‘Joined up thinking – Joined up PE’.

It is a largely practical event, aimed at practitioners from all phases. The focus will be on showcasing a range of less conventional activities such as Parkour, Futsal, Boxercise, Yoga, Climbing etc, where the emphasis is upon the pedagogy of high quality PE, and aligning these activities with outcomes across a range of learning domains. Workshops will be led by high profile experts in these respective fields.

Costs (including refreshments/lunch and resources):

• Student trainees with afPE membership – Free
• afPE members – £50
• Non afPE members – £75
