The Association for Physical Education (afPE) has today unveiled its new Strategic Plan.

Mike Crichton, afPE Chair commented:

“The afPE Strategic Plan is the organisational management tool that has been constructed to set the priorities, focus the energy and resources, strengthen operations and will ensure that the Board of Trustees and staff are working towards the key objectives, common goals and intended outcomes/results. It is clearly laid out and we have set the plan for the next four years (2016-2020).”

“In constructing the four-year Strategic Plan, we have taken into account the main priorities that we feel will support strongly current national policies and initiatives that are pertinent to the management, operation and delivery of physical education, physical activity, health and well-being and sport in schools and other educational establishments. afPE maintains strong links with many national partners and remains the only representative PE subject association in the UK.”

“The Strategic Plan outlines the afPE vision, celebrates the 2015-2016 successes and presents very clearly and succinctly afPE’s corporate objectives and the intended outcomes by 2020.”

“We are confident and optimistic that the Strategic Plan will have a major impact on the way afPE operates and delivers the highest quality outcomes for the PE profession.”
