Sport England: Major new funding to keep nation active

New investment opportunities to build on the millions of people already doing sport and activity across the country

Sport England has announced that it will be investing nearly £88 million of National Lottery and Government funding in 26 national governing bodies of sport (NGB) in addition to opening two separate open funding programmes.

The investments and work will come into force in April 2017 and follow detailed discussions with each governing body about what contribution they can make to their new strategy.
