Physical Education Initial Teacher Training Education (ITTE) Conference – Register Today!

The Annual Physical Education (PE) Initial Teacher Training and Education (ITTE) Network Conference will take place on Thursday 16th March, 2017 at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park.

This year’s theme is “Working together to enhance the quality and impact of PE ITTE through research and evidence-based practice”.

This conference invitation is open to lecturers, teachers/practitioners and professional stakeholders involved in PE ITTE in the UK. It is hoped that you will join together in this great networking event to engage, inform and inspire.

The overarching theme of the conference this year: “Working together to enhance the quality and impact of PE ITTE through research and evidence-based practice” recognises the importance and value of critical enquiry, questioning, research and theory as central rather than peripheral activities in PE ITTE.

Conference Aims:

The aims of the conference are as follows:

  1. To share innovative and creative research-led initiatives with colleagues relating to PE ITTE;
  2. To update colleagues on new developments and initiatives relating explicitly and implicitly to PE ITTE;
  3. To provide colleagues with opportunities to: (a) critically discuss current issues and topics, (b) learn with and from others and, (c) network and socialize with PE, sport and teacher education sector colleagues.
