Call for Research Posters for the 2017 afPE National Conference

20 February 2017

20/02/17

Anyone interested in presenting a poster at this year’s annual conference is invited to submit a short abstract for consideration by Friday 28th April 2017.

The abstract should:

  • be a maximum of 400 words
  • include details of the title, author(s) and affiliation(s)
  • provide a brief overview of the research aims, methodology, findings and conclusion(s).

The posters are now a standing and attractive feature of the national conference and the conference planning group is hoping to include a number of poster presentations at the event.

The intention is that these provide an ideal forum for both experienced and/or new researchers to share and discuss their research with colleagues in a relatively informal and relaxed setting. Posters should ideally relate to key topics of relevance to physical education and physical education practitioners.

Please email abstracts to Jo Harris (J.P.Harris@lboro.ac.uk) by the deadline date. Please also encourage any of your colleagues and or students, as applicable, to make submissions.

All abstracts will be acknowledged as soon as possible upon receipt and decisions will be made by Friday 19th May. At this time, presenters will be provided with further information and guidance about the poster presentations.

Please note – if accepted, the author or main author (if multiple) of the abstract must officially register for the conference, which is taking place at St George’s Park in Staffordshire on 4th & 5th July 2017.
