Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby lose battle to secure funding for Tokyo 2020

The Association is extremely disappointed to hear that Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby (GBWR) has lost its battle to secure funding for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic games.

The team finished 5^th in Rio and are current European champions, it appears spurious to not have a strategic planned withdrawal of funding. We do hope GBWR is able to secure interim funding to continue the growth and increase the success of the sport.
