afPE/SLQ Suite of Level 2-6 Qualifications

17/02/2023 In partnership with SLQ Sports Leaders, we now offer a full suite of qualifications (from Levels 2-6) to support collegues in the delivery of Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity in schools. Commenting on the new suite of Level 2-6 qualifications, including the reviewed and updated Level 2 and 3 qualifications, CEO’s from afPE and SLQ said: Sue Wilkinson MBE: “afPE, as the subject association for physical education, is committed to ensure that the PESSPA workforce has access to quality, accredited professional qualifications. "Colleagues teaching in the curriculum and providing extra-curricular opportunities are committed and determined to make a difference through a broad, inclusive and ambitious offer. Post the initial Covid outbreaks, we are now facing new challenges, as well as the existing barriers to participation and access to PESSPA." "afPE and SLQ have reviewed all of the accredited qualifications to ensure that they are fit for purpose, safe and will make a difference to the workforce, in addition offering solutions to support colleagues managing change."
