01/06/17

Angela James was afPE’s Health & Safety Officer and Chair of the afPE Heart of England region. Sadly, Angela passed away in January after a short battle with cancer, aged just 53.

Angela’s family and friends are keen to celebrate her life and as such, have organised an annual physical challenge.

The 2017 ‘Cheltenham Challenge’ is being held on Sunday, 18th June (which also happens to be Angela’s birthday!). Participants can choose to run or walk 5k, 10k or a half marathon.

Joe and Anna (Angela’s children) have opted to run the half marathon, and would love as many of you as possible to join in by running or walking a distance that suits you. Full details of the event can be found HERE.
