Peter Whitlam attends Queen’s Garden Party in recognition of his contribution to H&S in PESSPA

Peter Whitlam, afPE’s Governance Officer attended the Queen’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.

Sue Wilkinson MBE, afPE’s CEO said:

“We were delighted that the Department for Education recognised Peter’s long standing career in education, particularly the phenomenal contribution that he has made to supporting the workforce utilising his incredible knowledge and expertise of health and safety in physical education and sport.”

“Peter is a unique individual with a background in education and law, he has been involved in eight editions of afPE’s flagship resource ‘Safe Practice in PE and School Sport’ and was the technical adviser on the 2016 edition. On behalf of the Association I would like to put on record my thanks to Peter for all that he has done as afPE’s Project Manager for Health and Safety. We are delighted that you and Anne had a super day at the Palace Garden Party.”
