Recent tragic terrorist events have caused many afPE members to rightly raise concerns about school trips which have been planned for the end of the academic school year.

It is important that we listen to the advice being presented by key national bodies around trips and visits because this advice may change at short notice.

To help members we have drawn out some of the key messages so that you are aware of what is being said about any trips/visits you have planned or are intending to plan. This briefing is based on current national guidance and hopes to answer some of your key questions but your employer should be your key source for advice.
