Cambridgeshire PE Advisory Service: Level 5 & 6 Primary PE Qualifications

The Cambridgeshire PE Advisory Service is an accredited Professional Learning Centre for the delivery and assessment of  bespoke primary school PE qualifications aimed at HLTAs, Teachers and PE Coordinators and they are currently recruiting for their 6th cohort of this course.

The Level 5 Certificate for Primary School Physical Education Specialism is a recognised qualification that aims to upskill teachers and TAs to be able to improve the overall delivery of the PE curriculum within their primary school.

Average learning time: 6 days of contact time with additional inter-sessional tasks.

The Level 6 Award in Primary School Physical Education Subject Leadership is a recognised qualification that aims to upskill teachers, to be able to lead the overall delivery of the primary school PE curriculum.

Average learning time: 2 additional days of contact time with intersessional tasks.

These courses are a blend of theoretical classroom seminars and practical workshops.

The next Cambridgeshire course will be running locally from October 2018 – July 2019.

We are aware that schools may be interested but have already committed their funding for this financial year. If this is the case please contact Ian Roberts/Justine Spencer because they do have some potential solutions and compromises.
