The afPE Health and Safety Team has put together guidance to support schools in ensuring appropriate standards are met when Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity (PESSPA) equipment is inspected and maintained.

The H&S Team are often asked if Gymnastics, Sports Hall, Fixed Play, Fitness and Sports Equipment needs to be inspected annually and the answer is YES!
