The afPE Board provides strategic direction and leadership for afPE, ensuring it remains solvent, well-run, compliant where necessary and delivers the charitable outcomes in accordance with its Articles of Association, charity and company law.
Vacancies exist for the positions of Vice Chair, Treasurer, Member Trustee and Independent Trustee. Separate nomination forms are available for each position.
Where school membership rather than individual membership exists, only one person from the school may be nominated for any or all of the positions.
The current afPE Board comprises members, from a wide-range of backgrounds who possess various skill sets, particularly in the field of physical education and sport. We are looking for new trustees with experience and expertise beyond physical education and sport, in the areas of Finance, ICT, Marketing, Business, Human Resources and Remunerations (HR&R) and School-based representation.
