The annual Physical Education Initial Teacher Training & Education (ITTE) Conference will take place on Wednesday 21st March 2018 at The Welcome Centre in Coventry from 9.30am to 4.30pm. This conference invitation is open to lecturers, teachers, advisers and other professional stakeholders involved in PE ITTE in the UK and elsewhere. It is our hope that you will join together at this great networking event to engage, inform and share best practice. The theme of the conference this year is “Extending the frontiers of knowledge of teaching and evidence-based practice in PE ITTE” and reflects the content delivered by colleagues contributing to the conference. Conference Aims: 1. To share innovative and creative research-led initiatives with colleagues relating to PE ITTE 2. To update colleagues on new developments and initiatives relating to PE ITTE 3. To provide colleagues with opportunities to: (a) critically discuss current issues and topics, (b) learn with and from others and, (c) network and socialise with PE, sport and teacher education sector colleagues Keynote Addresses: - Inspections of ITE, induction and the NQT continuum – Angela Milner, Ofsted Lead HMI in ITE

- A practical session on the teaching and learning of Yoga in primary and secondary schools
