The Department for Education has published updated factsheets in relation to the new grading scale for GCSE’s. The factsheets include information about the new GCSE grades for parents, employers and further and higher education providers.

The factsheets outline the following:

• The new GCSE grading scale
• Standard and strong pass marks and what this means for students, schools, parents and employers
• When the new grades will apply to different subjects
