Minister for Sport calls on sector to open up their ‘opportunity data’

Tracey Crouch, Minister for Sport and Civil Society has called on the sport and physical activity sector to open up their ‘opportunity data’.

When Sporting Future was published in December 2015, a key section was on the use of data and its role in shaping the future provision of sport and physical activity for consumers. Sporting Future is clear that all organisations that receive public funding must make data publicly available in an agreed format. OpenActive is the sector initiative to help us all make that happen.
