Apply to deliver an interactive workshop session at the afPE 2020 National Conference

If you would you like to apply to deliver an interactive workshop at the afPE 2020 National Conference, please complete and return the expression of interest form no later than 2nd January 2020.

The conference title is ‘2020 Vision – Clarity of purpose in an uncertain world’. The conference will inspire and stimulate colleagues to create a world class Physical Education curriculum. We would particularly welcome workshops that can help the workforce to impact on the outcomes for children and young people in the following areas:

• Improving the physical education curriculum offer
• Offering practical sessions that will broaden the curriculum offer (especially non-traditional activities)
• Supporting the workforce to plan and assess in a relevant, efficient and appropriate manner
• Improving the outcomes for children and young peoples’ physical health
• Improving the outcomes for children and young peoples’ emotional well-being
• Case studies that exemplify outstanding practice including professional learning
• Ensuring an inclusive curriculum offer

There will be two slots available (am and pm) and the sessions will be approximately 75 – 80 minutes in length.

The conference will be held at St George’s Park in Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire on Thursday 16th July 2020.
