afPE supports the request to Government to confirm the future of the Primary PE and Sport Premium

The Association for Physical Education fully supports the request to Government to confirm the future of the Primary PE and Sport Premium funding for 2020-21.

As per the tweet of 3rd June 2020, afPE continues to liaise with the Department for Education and as soon as we know news of a decision regarding the Primary PE and Sport Premium we will update you.

We suggest colleagues still consider publishing their website reporting template in July and to review their strategies for sustainability to ensure that PESSPA remains at the heart of school life in these unprecedented times. We are committed to supporting the re-integration and re-socialisation of children and young people, whilst supporting the workforce as we move forward.
