To continue to support our members and the sector during these unprecedented times, the Association for Physical Education is continuing to host a number of free webinars.

The next webinar we are announcing is:

Title: ‘Health-Related Physical Education Research and Implications for Practice’

Summary: This webinar will summarise key research findings in Health-related Physical Education (HRPE) and explore the implications of these for physical education practice. In light of the findings, it will encourage practitioners to reflect on and review the health-related components of their own curricula, promote the need for a move towards research-informed, evidence-based HRPE practice, before concluding with some practical recommendations.

Whilst standalone, this presentation has been designed to complement and follow on from the webinar on afPE’s 2020 Health Position Paper delivered by Jo Harris in April.

Time and Date: 4.30pm on Thursday 2nd July 2020.

Duration: 45 minutes.

Hosted by: Professor Lorraine Cale from Loughborough University

Please note: There are only 1000 places available, these are on a first come, first served basis. A recording of the webinar and presentation slides will be uploaded to the members’ area following the broadcast.
