Rounders Reconnected: Strategic Vision 2022-2023

Rounders England are excited to launch their new 10 year strategic vision, Rounders: Reconnected, with the aim of growing and developing the nations much-loved game into a thriving, modern, inclusive sport that can be enjoyed by everyone.

afPE is delighted to work with Rounders England. A visionary NGB, that has worked hard to ensure the sport will work to engage communities. In addition, it is important that Rounders continues to be a prestigious and inclusive activity within the physical education curriculum. It provides an activity that re-enforces and builds on the development of children and young peoples’ physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.

 

This strategy has physical education at the heart of it; as Rounders England strives to develop an improved curriculum offer through resources and teacher training to support and upskill the school workforce.
