Are you appropriately insured to deliver PE in schools and the wider community?
The insurance cover provided through afPE, supplements and, in most cases, may well enhance any cover held through schools or Local Authorities.
Most Public Liability policies do not provide any cover for Professional Indemnity – Injury resulting from coaching/instruction – which is included with the afPE cover as standard.
afPE’s comprehensive cover includes:
Combined Liability insurance – Protects all afPE members if they are held responsible for causing an injury to someone else or damage to someone’s property
Personal Accident insurance – Provides benefits to afPE members if they are injured whilst undertaking the recognised/authorised activities of the association
Legal Helpline – Gives all members access to a free confidential 24 hour a day legal helpline to advise on a number of issues such as personal and commercial legal advice
