To continue to support our members and the PESSPA sector, the Association for Physical Education is scheduling regular webinars covering a wide range of diverse and topical subject areas. These will be specifically available for afPE members, although some will be open to the public.
The next members’ webinar that we have scheduled is ‘Teacher Wellbeing: An introduction to wellbeing, listening and the inside out understanding‘
- Title: Teacher Wellbeing: An introduction to wellbeing, listening and the inside out understanding
- Date & Time: Thursday 3rd November from 16:00 to 17:00 with the opportunity for questions
- Delivered by: Liz Taplin, Liz Scott and Sophie Prifti
- Description: A webinar designed to help participants recognise their value and self-worth, to begin eliminating limiting beliefs and to develop a healthy understanding of what stress is and how it is an essential part of being human. We will be exploring teacher wellbeing by addressing a simple misunderstanding of how the mind works. The webinar builds on the article ‘Teacher wellbeing and the role of listening’ published in the Spring 2022 edition of Physical Education Matters.
