Firing spirits and imagination – altering the course of history

26/03/12

The Association for Physical Education in partnership with Crichton Casbon (CC Consulting) and Dean Horridge (Fit For Sport) are creating a national set of linked hubs of concerned professionals and schools who share our passion and vision for the physical curriculum and healthy lifestyles. We are embarking on an adventure so powerful that nobody will underestimate the value and power for good of the physical curriculum.

Our aim is:

To build a small and growing network of people and schools with ‘determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in our mission. We are engaged in a quiet revolution that will alter the course of history’. (inspired by and adapted from Ghandi)

If you are as determined as we are to alter the course of history, and share our passion for the physical curriculum and healthy lifestyles then you are invited to join us. Please click HERE for more information or contact Crichton Casbon:

Seeking afPE Champions

We are all Association of Physical Education (afPE) Champions. As members we all promote the aspects of the association’s work that we most admire and use – health and safety advice, the website, being kept up to date on matters that affect us, national curriculum for example; Physical Education Matters, professional learning opportunities, and so on.

However, the association has decided to recruit people from other walks of life – business, commerce, sport and also education – to support the work of the association. What we would like you to do is to consider friends, acquaintances, people you’ve met in the course of your work, who you think would be prepared to support our work.
