Insurance Cover & Legal Advice

Insurance Cover & Legal Advice

You will find information here about the insurance arranged by afPE to protect you whilst you are taking part in the delivering or supporting of physical education in schools and in the wider community.

The cover provided through afPE, supplements and, in most cases, may well enhance any cover held through schools or Local Authorities.

Your comprehensive cover includes:

  • Legal Helpline - Gives all members access to a free confidential 24 hour a day legal helpline to advise on a number of issues such as personal and commercial legal advice

Physiocare - Physiotherapy Sessions at Reduced Rates

In connection with Perkins Slade (afPE’s Insurance Brokers), afPE is delighted to announce a new package that will enable afPE members the opportunity to purchase physiotherapy sessions at significantly reduced rates.

Anyone who participates in a sport accepts there is a risk of sustaining an injury which may affect their health and fitness. If the injury also prevents the person from going to work this could lead to loss of wages and the increased financial burden of physiotherapy costs.

The PhysioCare package provides fast access to professionals who will accurately diagnose and effectively treat your injury. Early intervention improves the chances of a full and safe recovery and reduces the chance of recurrence.

Key features include:

  • Over £1,000 of treatment per year
  • Treatment available only a short distance from your home or work

For more information or for a quotation please visit: www.ps-sports-physiocare.com

N.B. In order to qualify for reduced rates, please ensure you add ‘Association for Physical Education’ to the Club/Association field when completing your quote.
